Rudra Patel, a fourth-year Honours Biology student at McMaster University. Through Venture for Canada, Rudra joined WKG Foundation to support disability inclusion through research, social media strategy, and awareness campaigns that promote accessible education, employment, and community engagement.

Mahreen Rahman is a fourth-year Information Technology student at York University with a passion for technology and practical problem-solving. At WKG Foundation, she supported the development of educational strategies and led the consolidation and refinement of learning categories to strengthen program planning and accessibility.

Wania Siddiqi is a student at the University of Toronto Mississauga with interests in research, accessibility, and community impact. At WKG Foundation, she conducted research and website UX analysis with educational content focused on flexible work, career transitions, and support for people living with dynamic disabilities.

Nalan Kurnaz is a digital media and web developer who helped shape the WKG Foundation website. She is passionate about creating accessible, meaningful online spaces for community-focused organizations. With skills in video editing, content creation, and back-end development, she loves bringing stories to life.

Tanuson Rajakumar is a student in the Law & Business program at Toronto Metropolitan University (Class of 2026), with interests in consulting, legal strategy, and innovation. He supported research and development for the WKG Foundation through the Venture for Canada Intrapreneurship Program.

Uy Tran joined the WKG Foundation as an intrapreneurship trainee, supporting digital insights, content exploration, and research. A third-year nursing student at the University of Saskatchewan, Uy is inspired by WKG’s mission and hopes to bridge healthcare and business through accessible, innovative models of care.

Maggie Perotin is an international business and leadership coach and founder of Stairway to Leadership. With 18+ years of experience, she helps service-based entrepreneurs scale sustainable, sellable businesses. Maggie hosts the Diamond Effect Podcast and mentors founders through BACD, Futurpreneur, YILIS, and ADP.

Jim Woods, Chair of the Board of Directors, holds a degree in organizational development and has years of experience as a diversity & inclusion consultant across the US, Canada, and beyond. With a background serving clients like the US Army and Whirlpool, he now brings his expertise to the WKG Foundation, supporting awareness and fundraising while championing deeper, more inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities.

Lucy Kovalova-Woods, Board Member and Managing Director, is an engineer with decades of strategic business experience and years of helping others launch and grow. After facing health challenges that affected her career, she dedicated herself to empowering people with visible and invisible disabilities to gain new skills and pursue freelancing or meaningful work through the WKG Foundation.

Ann Tamana is a board member and former business manager who experienced multiple career transitions, including one influenced by health challenges and brain fog. Despite the difficulties, her determination led her to learn new skills and explore fresh ideas, proving that growth is possible at any stage.
