This year reinforced something we know deeply: progress does not happen all at once. It happens through small, consistent actions taken by people who care.
Reflecting on the Year Behind Us
In 2025, the WKG Foundation has continued its work to advance equity, inclusion, and opportunity for people with disabilities and chronic conditions. We focused on:
- Establishing our official presence as an UK NFP
- Building accessible knowledge resources
- Highlighting gaps in employment and participation
- Elevating patient and lived-experience voices with projects planned for the next year
- Creating tools that support informed decision-making
- Laying the groundwork for stronger global collaboration with localized hub-spots of higher impact
Some of our work happened quietly, behind the scenes. Some of it showed up as data, conversations, and community partnerships. All of it was guided by a belief that systems improve when people are included meaningfully.
